We all know that managing your finances is essential, and even more so within the restraints of Covid19.
We also know that a lot of people struggle with that burden on top of all the other things they have to do to manage their organisations and provide services to the most vulnerable.
We are experts in charity finance and want to spread that expertise as widely as we can. In the new world of electronic and remote working we want to bring charity finances to the fore to ensure they are as efficient as possible so that managers can concentrate on their core purposes.
To help with that we have introduced an app which trustees and managers can download onto their phones keeping all their finance requirements in one place. We are looking for funding to maintain the app and develop our working practices to bring the greatest efficiencies to our clients.
What the App has to offer its users?
- Charity Links – Charity specific links to external websites, The Charity Commission, NCVO, Small Charities Coalition and DSC at the press of one button.
- Website – A link to CCAS website
- Get in Touch – Direct access to send a message, call the office, details of the office address and links to our social media platforms.
- About Us – Meet the team area, containing names, roles and contact details, live blog, online forms to book a meeting and our services and fees leaflet.
- Message centre – Latest news from the finance industry along with an instant way to reach our existing clients and users of the app with a message which can be scheduled to be sent now or a date/time in the future.
- Cloud Accounting – Integrated with well know accounting software, Xero, Quickbooks and Clearbooks, meaning the user only needs to download our app and can access all of their accounting records in one place.
- Tax & Finance – Calculators, to help with all areas of tax, tax tables, key tax dates and news & info around topical areas such as the annual budget, share prices and latest finance news.
- Tools – A way of recording receipts and income without the need for a separate accounting software, mileage tracker and a document scanner. As a taster here is a link to a video showing how the document scanner works https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkBE1NHa65s&t=18s
- Reporting Deadlines – A table of reporting deadlines to The Charity Commission and Companies House based on an organisations year end date.

A bit about us:
We were set up in 2012 to help organisations with charitable purposes. We manage to survive on the fees we charge for compliance work such as payroll and year end accounts. But our added value is the extra work we do to analyse what is happening with our clients and how we can improve on day to day practices to make life easier.
