we want to ensure that the charity continues and thus ensuring city centre access for all

We are a small, dedicated charity that has been serving the York community for over 25 years. With a team of just three paid staff—who also generously volunteer their time—and a committed board of trustees, we work tirelessly to ensure that people with mobility challenges can access and enjoy everything York has to offer. While we may not be the most high-profile charity, we are a lifeline to many, providing essential mobility equipment that allows them to connect with the world around them.

However, sustaining this vital service has become increasingly difficult. At present, we urgently need  help to move the charity forward. we are in need of help to continue the development of the charity  and ensure  financial resilience.

we would welcome volunteers that can not only help with tasks such as  

• Office tasks and administrative support
• Updating and maintaining our website
• Providing IT support

we also need people to help assist with fundraising activities and supporting us at upcoming events. It is hard to arrange events if you are unsure as whether you will have help to run it. Thus losing out on potential  funds

Whilst looking for volunteers we are also in need of new, passionate trustees to help us move the charity forward. As a trustee we just ask that you

• Attend meetings every couple of months
• Offer your perspective and expertise
• Help guide the direction of the charity
• Be part of a vital service making a real difference
