Aim

We moved site around 5 years ago, we have 5 lovely new courts but need more funding to help us improve on our current portacabin/facilities

We started as a club over 100 years ago, with just one court. Then we moved to a new site with 3 courts, then we managed to gain funding for new courts in 2016 and now have 5 polymeric floodlit courts!

The club have an active coaching programme so that the membership is now 70+ adults and over a 100 juniors. Encouraging all abilities to play and and is fully inclusive of all diverse backgrounds.

The club is also available to all members of the community on a play and pay basis. We also encourage holiday visitors and other clubs as we have all weather courts. The coaches are also active in the local schools and hold events for them to learn a new skill and compete.

The club also as a link with local mental health group. The members regularly come twice a week and feel the benefit in their mental health and wellbeing.

The club would like to build a larger clubhouse which would have facilities for visiting teams and club social events but would also be available to the local community for fitness, wellbeing, children's parties and other events.

The club has almost raised the amount required for the new build but we are short of around 20,000 where we are applying for other funding including this one and would really appreciate your support to achieve this.

This project successfully funded on 16th June 2021
