To provide community and workplace training in domestic abuse for employers, schools, community groups and individuals.
We have been training employers and community organisations throughout the pandemic to have a better understanding of domestic abuse, how to recognise the signs as well as respond safely in both adults and children.
Our 'Impact of Domestic Abuse on Children' training was fully-funded throughout the pandemic across the country and we are looking to be able to offer this 2 hr online workshop to any school that requires it across the Country. In addition our 'Impact of Domestic Abuse on Children and Young People' looks at the correlation between Domestic Abuse and Extra-Familial Harm which are a number of harms and risks outside in the community which children and young people who have, or are experiencing domestic abuse may be more vulnerable to. These include gangs, county lines, grooming, sexual exploitation, harmful sexual behaviours as well as modern slavery and trafficking. We support employers, workforces and communities to build their confidence and skills in spotting the signs and safely responding.
In addition our 2 hr Webinar on Domestic Abuse and Family Court was run as a pilot in September 2021, which we now seek funding for so it can be delivered to any organisation that works with children and young people across the Country.
