To fund trusted, one-to-one financial wellbeing support so families facing hardship can reduce stress, boost income and regain control.
Who we are, and what this project is about
Nova New Opportunities is a community charity in North Kensington with over 40 years’ experience supporting local residents facing poverty and disadvantage. We’re a small, committed team rooted in the community, delivering trusted support that helps people move from crisis to stability — and build the skills and confidence to shape their futures.
This project focuses on Financial Wellbeing: helping people feel more secure and in control of their financial futures. Many residents we support are juggling rising living costs, insecure work, debt, and housing pressures. When money is tight, small issues can quickly become emergencies — and the stress can be overwhelming.
Our vision is simple: that people feel safe, steady and informed — able to make choices, not just react to crises. With your support, we’ll provide practical, person-centred financial wellbeing help through our Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) service.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Demand for advice and crisis support is high, and too many people are one unexpected bill away from crisis. Crowdfunding (with match funding) will help us respond quickly, reduce waiting times, and reach more residents with timely support — before problems escalate.
