No one should have to face hardship alone
At Bournemouth Foodbank, we believe that everyone deserves access to the right advice, support and resources to get through difficult times.
Our team provides financial advice and practical support to people experiencing hardship, helping them understand their options, maximise their income, access benefits and navigate debt and other financial pressures. Alongside this, we provide emergency food parcels and essential items to ensure people have access to the basics when they cannot afford them.
Giving support now, that lasts beyond the Harvest season with every £1 doubled up to a donation of £250.
With Aviva’s match funding doubling the impact of every contribution, your support becomes a powerful force that strengthens financial resilience, reduces reliance on emergency food provision, and gives people a genuine chance to step out of poverty. Supporting financial wellbeing
Financial hardship can have a significant impact on people's wellbeing. Worry about money, bills, debt and putting food on the table can leave people feeling overwhelmed and isolated.
Our aim is to provide more than an emergency food parcel. We want to help people understand their financial situation, access the support they are entitled to and take steps towards greater financial stability.
Our staff are central to this work. They provide time, advice, listening and practical support, helping each person access the right services for their circumstances.
How your support will help
Money raised through this Crowdfunder will help us continue providing financial advice and wellbeing support alongside emergency food parcels and essential items.
Funding will contribute towards the staffing needed to deliver this support, as well as helping us provide food and everyday essentials to people experiencing financial hardship.
This means we can support people both in the immediate crisis and beyond it – helping put food on the table today while connecting people with advice and support that can improve their financial wellbeing for the future.
