Aviva Community Fund provided £1,933 of match funding
To raise funds so that no child should go without essential items or the little luxuries that make life easier in the 21st century.
Gloucestershire Bundles was set up just over 8 years ago to provide essential clothing, toiletries, and equipment to families in Gloucestershire who are in need due to social or economic circumstances.

The charity was set up by three women who wanted to make a difference to their local community. Since then, they have grown into a registered charity which is helping hundreds of families every year. The charity collects donations of clothing and equipment from the public and distributes items to families in need. Any family can be referred by any professional (for example midwife, health visitor, social worker, teacher). Items are provided for unborn babies right up to children aged 16 years old.

Over the past 12 months the charity has seen demand for services increase dramatically due to the pandemic. In addition to the increase in demand the charity has also been unable to hold it’s ‘nearly new’ sales which usually provide a significant source of income. As a result, the charity has had to look for new sources of funding to ensure it can continue to provide its vital support to families.
Expanding our services
We have begun to reach out to local schools to help those children who don’t have the essentials to learn. This year has been especially challenging for secondary school aged children and the last thing we want them to worry about is not having a school bag or warm coat.
How your money will help us
Our local community needs our support more than ever before, this money will enable us to increase the number of families we help and continue to expand our reach.
