Our Story

I know first-hand how challenging it is for some families to engage in a regular physical activity. There are many reasons why this turn to be the norm rather than the exception for most struggling families, but this ought not to be the situation, especially for many young and older people from ethnic minority backgrounds and this has been worsened by many factors including the high cost of living.

For almost five years we have provided activities that has built community resilience, opportunities and support for countless number of people with various degree of emotional, mental and financial challenges. As a direct result of our work, many people have regained their self-worth and taken control of their mental wellbeing.

Even though we have and continue to make a positive impact in the lives of many people we are also aware of the enormous task before us as we strive to create a much better community cohesion, tolerance and support the vulnerable, lone parents, older adults and individuals.

The rising cost of living is posing a serious challenge for most people especially families with children and the vulnerable who are afraid of not being able to afford the basic necessities of life. Provide sufficient support for their children's education and development through physical activities.

A place where the older people meet and share, connect and enjoy a simple physical activity to help with mobility and mental well-being.

1663723706_update2.jpg1663723658_update1.jpgOur aim is to expand these services to other areas in our county. Give people the tools and skills to overcome emotional, psychological and financial difficulties.  Provide physical activities including cycling, and tennis to build resilience and equip people to stay active mentally, physically and emotionally and overcome some of the health problems associated with inactivity (diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, depression and anxiety).

  • To empower young people and give them opportunities to become the best version of themselves while ensuring that their basic needs are met.
  • To create avenues that will ensure that families with disabled children get the best experience and connect with others.
  • With the rising cost of living the tendency to stay inactivity and worry about utility bills has never been that high on the minds of many people.

The project also provides opportunity for young kids and children between 2-5 years in nursery to play and learn with various musical instruments and hopefully grow up with a love for music. Another way of getting these children active.
