Ensuring no one in our community goes without this Christmas. Every donation helps us provide festive meals and hampers.
We’re Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change (CN4C), a charity based in Redruth and St Austell.
We work year-round to help people feel more connected, raise their aspirations, and manage financial hardship through education, community activities, and one-to-one support.
At Christmas, those hardships often deepen. Behind the smiles of Cornwall’s tourist towns, many families face hidden poverty. Over 5,000 local children live in hardship, food banks see demand soar, and fuel poverty leaves homes cold. For many, the emotional toll of not being able to provide a “normal” Christmas is huge.
Our vision is simple: a Cornwall where everyone feels valued, supported and part of their community, especially at Christmas.

Our staff, volunteers, and SEND post-16 learners are coming together to make this vision real. Together, we’re creating spaces where people can share food, friendship and warmth, and know they’re not alone.
With your help, we will:
As Will, one of our learners, said:
“Donating to this fund will make sure no one goes without. Every penny raised helps people have a magical Christmas.”
We’re aiming to raise £5,000 to support people in and around Redruth and St Austell.
Your donations will go directly towards the cost of food, festive activities, and hampers for those facing hardship and isolation.
This year, your donation could help provide:
Every pound helps us make a difference, whether you can give £2, £5 or £50.
This campaign is about more than food, it’s about warmth, dignity and hope.
Your support will help us create meaningful moments that remind people they belong and that they matter.
Together, we can make sure no one in our community feels forgotten this Christmas.
