Aim

We are raising money to equip people facing homelessness with vital financial skills to help them secure and sustain a stable home.

Nomad Opening Doors has been opening doors for people facing homelessness across South Yorkshire for over 35 years.

We provide safe housing and one-to-one coaching to help people rebuild their lives, regain stability and move towards independence. Our team, many with lived experience of homelessness, supports more than 300 people each year to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to sustain a home.

Money Matters is a straightforward financial wellbeing programme that gives people the essential tools to budget, manage bills, avoid debt and maintain their tenancy. This project will help our clients build financial confidence and reduce the risk of homelessness in the future.

People moving on from homelessness often start with very limited income and little experience of managing money. A single unexpected bill can put their home at risk. We are raising funds to deliver specialist advice so people can take control of their finances, plan ahead and build a more secure future.

Your donation will contribute towards the salary of our Housing and Progression Officer who delivers consistent, one-to-one support for people moving on from homelessness. They listen to the challenges our clients are facing and provide personalised support to help them manage their money and sustain their tenancy.
