Aim

Helping women in Ipswich build financial confidence and independence through a 12-week financial wellbeing programme.

Who are we, and what is our project about?

ProspHER Community CIC is a UK-based social enterprise supporting women and girls to build confidence, independence and brighter futures.

We know that life can change suddenly. Separation, redundancy, caring responsibilities, or unexpected life events can leave women feeling overwhelmed, especially when it comes to managing money.

Many of the women we support tell us they were never taught about budgeting, debt, savings or pensions. When circumstances change, they can feel anxious, unsure where to start, and worried about the future.

That’s why we created ProspHER Spark.

Spark is a friendly, supportive 12-week programme that brings women together to learn practical money skills in a safe and welcoming space. Each week we cover topics like budgeting, managing bills, understanding debt, accessing benefits, and planning for the future.

The sessions help women realise they’re not alone and together, they build confidence, support each other, and start to feel more in control of their finances and their futures.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We want to bring ProspHER Spark to Ipswich and support up to 30 women who are experiencing financial pressure or major life changes.

Right now, many women only access financial support once they are already in crisis. But with the right guidance earlier, many problems can be prevented.

By supporting this project, you’ll help women:

* feel more confident managing their money

* understand their rights and financial options

* reduce stress and anxiety around finances

* build independence and security for themselves and their families

A small programme like this can have a huge ripple effect, improving wellbeing, strengthening families and helping women move forward with confidence.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We are raising £6,385 to run a 12-week programme in Ipswich.

Your support will help cover:

* Weekly sessions led by financial experts and facilitators

* A safe, welcoming venue where women can meet and learn together

* Workbooks and learning materials for participants

* Mentors who provide encouragement and support during the programme

Every pound raised will go directly towards helping women gain the knowledge and confidence to take control of their finances.
