Funding for Maybole Food Pantry has been vastly cut, putting the future of the pantry at risk. Please support this valued, local, service.
At the Carrick Centre, our dedicated team is committed to building a community where good food is available to everyone, not wasted. Our Community Pantry provides affordable, dignified access to food for people facing rising living costs, helping individuals and families maintain their financial wellbeing without relying on emergency aid.
Our vision is simple: food for everyone, not landfill. We believe no good food should go to waste while people in our community are struggling. By offering low-cost food, we help households stretch their budgets, reduce financial pressure, and feel more secure.
Tackling climate change is at the heart of what we do. Through our partnership with FareShare, we rescue high-quality surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away, cutting food waste, reducing carbon emissions, and turning a problem into a powerful community solution.
The money we raise will fund our annual FareShare provision, which is essential to help reach our carbon neutral goals, as well as keeping our pantry stocked with surplus food. Without it, this vital climate action, and the affordable food it provides, would not be possible.
Every donation helps us reduce waste, support local people, and protect the planet.
With your support, we can continue to fight food waste, improve financial wellbeing, and ensure good food reaches people, not landfill.
