Aim

To make 75 hedgehog boxes so that rescued hedgehogs that have been brought back to health can be put into safe homes when they are re-wilded

Beer Men's Shed runs a workshop in our beautiful seaside village in Devon, providing a place where men can get together to make new friends and do useful things for their local community.  Our members have made over 100 hedgehog boxes since we first opened our doors in 2019.  Every time we make a hedgehog box, it's to provide a new safe home for a rescued hedgehog that's about to be returned to the wild.  Our local hedgehog rescue centre, the Hedgehog Hut in Colyford, needs our help to provide the boxes.  But you can help to rescue the hedgehogs by donating towards the cost of the next hedgehog box that we make.  Every time we make a hedgehog box, another hedgehog is saved.  And our members get a sense of pride in helping the community that they live in and our environment.
