Aviva Community Fund has provided £509 of match funding
We are looking to raise funds to pay for a dedicated staff member to work solely on the client pantry service.
Our pantry and baby bank service is used by hundreds of referred disadvantaged families per month.
The pantry provides emergency access to a large election ambient and fresh food which is donated by the community and food businesses. Our baby bank holds essential stock of nappies, formula, wet wipes, baby clothing, cots and pushchairs.
Currently this service is staffed by our office manager and clothing bank supervisor. This means that as this is not their dedicated role we are unable to provide a full wrap around service that they deserve.
We are looking to fundraise for a dedicated staff member to run this part of the charity alongside our volunteers to provide additional services such as budgeting support and healthy cost effective meal planning.
