Aim
We would like to expand our suicide prevention service to meet the huge increase in demand we have seen. This will help us to save lives.
If U Care Share is a local charity focusing on suicide prevention, bereavement support and promoting positive mental health in our communities.
We work hard to help people who are at risk of taking their own life, offering tangible support to make their lives better and deal with the issues that may be driving them to take their own life.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50 and of young people under 25 in the UK but we know that it does not have to be like this.
Since the beginning of lockdown we have seen a 275% increase in demand on our service and we would like to expand our suicide prevention service to meet demand.
This will help us to save even more lives and improve the lives of those who are struggling.
This project successfully funded on 16th June 2021
