Fundraising for Citizens Advice Norfolk
On Wednesday 5th November, the Aviva Broker Marketing Team (Alex Price, Caroline Spary, Claire Galasky, Lily Power, Marta Pobiarzyn, Matt Shannon, Rich Whitfield, Ed Slade) will be taking on a marathon challenge walk along Marriotts Way to raise vital funds for Citizens Advice.
Many of the team will be walking the marathon distance of 26.2 miles, while others will be covering a distance that’s personally challenging and meaningful to them. Every step taken is a show of support for Citizens Advice and the incredible work they do.
Citizens Advice offers free and confidential support to people facing challenges with debt, housing, benefits, and more. Your support will help them continue to be a lifeline for those in need.
Please donate today and help us make a real difference. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal and helps Citizens Advice continue their vital work.
We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Norfolk Citizens Advice, we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice.
Across Norfolk we are seeing increased demand for our services and we’re not able to support everyone that needs us. People in our community are coming to us with more complex issues that are taking longer to resolve, stretching our capacity even further.
Last year…
● We helped 14,520 people with 32,172 issues
● We identified £1.9m income maximisation for the people that we have helped
● We got over £1.1m of unmanageable debt written off for the people that we have helped

With your help we can support the people that need us most. Any donations we receive will go towards our area of greatest need - helping more people across Norfolk. The support we offer will empower people in our community with the knowledge and tools so that they can solve their own problems in the future.
● £50 will help us run an outreach session and give up to 10 local people access to our services
● £150 will run one of our busiest offices for a day, supporting over 40 people to improve their lives
● £10,000 will help us support 100 people in Norfolk
● £50,000 will run our Norwich office for a year
● £100,000 will support the development of our new Norwich City based Advice Hub
