Aim

We aim to smash our £2,500 fundraising target and tackle Skiddaw and three Wainwrights to help restore one of Britain’s rare rainforests.

The Skiddaw Forest Challenge

We’re taking on an unforgettable two‑day adventure in the Lake District… and we need your support!

Aviva and Cumbria Wildlife Trust have teamed up to create an exclusive challenge with a mission to help restore one of Britain’s rare and precious temperate rainforests.

As a team, we’ll be planting trees in a nursery before hiking 15 miles through some of the UK’s most spectacular scenery, summiting Skiddaw and three iconic Wainwrights. We’ll navigate to a unique what3words location high in the fells. There, we’ll plant seeds at altitude, leaving behind a living legacy for nature, wildlife, and local communities.

But the challenge starts long before our boots hit the mountain.

💚 Why We’re Fundraising

Each team is aiming to raise £2,500+ to support the brilliant work of Cumbria Wildlife Trust, helping restore and protect this extraordinary habitat. Your donation will directly contribute to rewilding efforts, biodiversity recovery, and long‑term conservation across Cumbria’s disappearing rainforests.

🥾 Our Commitment

We’re ready to train, trek, and push our limits to make this happen. Every pound raised gets us closer to making a lasting impact on England’s 4th highest peak and on the wellbeing of this rare ecosystem.

🌱 How You Can Help

Please support our team by donating what you can. Whether big or small, every contribution helps us reach our goal and ensures more of this remarkable landscape is protected for future generations.

Thank you for supporting our challenge. Every pound donated helps breathe new life into one of Britain’s rarest ecosystems.
