We are fundraising for the National Citizens Advice Bureau as part of the Aviva Grand Challenge
We are members of Aviva's Customer Strategy and Transformation team that (mainly) work in the Norwich, London, Eastleigh and York offices.
As the Customer Strategy and Transformation team, we are aiming to cover the distance between the furthest 2 offices we regularly work in: the Eastleigh Aviva office and the York Aviva Office.
Our team will be walking and cycling a total combined distance of 276 miles around our local vicinities in order to raise funds for Citizens Advice whilst exploring and promoting the use of local cycle and walking lanes.
This distance was measured against the actual distance that would need to be cycled by using cycle routes and quiet ways - no cutting corners and virtually using the M1!
This virtual route would also take us near colleagues based in the Sheffield and Birmingham offices too!

Our aim is to to complete the challenge during the week commencing 8th September 2025, with the team splitting into 2 groups, each taking a designated day that week, to tackle as many miles as possible in order to achieve the 276 miles needed in total.

We will be posting before and after photos, as well as providing updates in the week as to how we are tracking against target - as tracking versus a target is something we just cannot avoid doing, even in our downtime.
